My First Publication
It started off as a free writing exercise connected to my novel. My prof. read it and suggested I edit it and submit it to an anthology she was working on. And it became my first publication.

It seems to me that you wrote this quite a while ago. If you were to write or talk about the same subject now, would anything be different?
It was two years ago, which does seem like a long time ago. I'm not sure how much my views have changed, but I'll be talking about that later in the week. I think you underestimate how conflicted I am about this stuff, partly because I always play devil's advocate when I talk to you about it Agate.
